Tomaso Belloni obituary

Prof. Tomaso Belloni, member of the INAF-Osservatorio di Brera, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, August 26.  His contributions to X-ray astronomy – in particular on X-ray Binaries – are paramount. He was a close collaborator of many members of the Athena community.

Tomaso was bestowed with a sharp and witty intelligence and cultivated a wide range of cultural and intellectual interests. He will be sorely missed by the Italian and international community.
