European Researchers' Night: 1st Athena Memes contest
As every September the Athena Community Office wants to join the European Researchers' Night. This year we propose an international initiative launching a call for memes related to Athena science, instruments, software, etc.
A meme is an element of a culture or system of behaviour that may be considered to be passed from one individual to another by non-genetic means, especially imitation. But if you have needed to read the previous definition to know what a meme is, you will probably have to make an extra effort to participate.
Competition Rules:
* The deadline for submitting memes ends on September 20, 2021.
* Participants: everyone can submit their meme.
* How to participate: fill this form with the required data and attach the meme (images larger than 4Mb will not be accepted). If you don’t have a Google account and would like to participate, please contact us by email.
* Limits: each participant can send a maximum of 2 memes.
* Prize: the prize will consist of an Athena merchandising pack and public recognition of the author's ingenuity thanks to the publication of the winners on social networks and the Athena Community Office website.
* Selection: the winning meme will be selected attending to its originality, sense of humour and relation to the mission. The selection will be done by members of the ACO and it will be final, it cannot be reconsidered.
