Learning about Athena with its board game
Yaël Nazé, astrophysicist at the Université de Liège (Belgium), has created an Athena board game with the support of IRAP, to explain how the Athena observatory will solve scientific riddles, from the submission of proposals to the publication of the results. Yaël has a broad outreach experience, and recently she has been awarded with the Jean Perrin 2017 price of the Société Française de Physique.
The Athena board game can be downloaded from the Outreach/Material section in four different languages: English, French, German and Spanish. The game is distributed under Creative Commons (CC BY-NC-ND) licence.
Enjoy the game with your friends and family, becoming X-ray astronomers!
