Six years supporting the Athena community

Today, the 21st of June 2022 is the official sixth anniversary of the Athena community office. The spirit of the office was and is to support the Athena community to achieve the common goal of the adoption of this transformational observatory by ESA.

Over the years the office has increased the number of activities involved, and so has the number of members of our community, which is now higher than 1000. The office has realised many resources of interest to the community, just to mention a few of them: 64 Athena nuggets; 9 Athena newsletters; hundreds of news and 148 images published in the gallery. One of the new activities is the monthly series of science webinars that we launched together with the ASST in January 2022.

All this work is only possible thanks to the community and your willingness to help us with your time and effort. Thanks for helping us to spread the science and technology of this flagship mission.
