The next webinar of the  “Athena X-ray Advances: ASST & ACO Science Webinars” will take place on the 25th of May at 15 CEST.  Elisa Costantini will give the webinar entitled: AGN feedback and the connection XRISM-Athena.

Abstract: The X-ray emission and absorption spectrum of active galactic nuclei (AGN) carry the signature of different regions of the black hole environment. High-resolution X-ray spectroscopy, with present and future instruments, has an enormous diagnostic power in studying the chemistry, kinematics and geometry of the plasma that is either accreting or ejected from the central source. In this talk, I’ll provide an overview of our current understanding of the ejection phenomena in AGN and the future prospects in this field.
