This week the Rubin-Athena synergy workshop is taking place within the synergy exercise requested by ESA among these two observatories. This follows previous successful Athena synergy exercises, eg. with ESO, SKA and multi-messenger facilities.

The main aim of the workshop is to examine in some detail how the two projects can work together to enhance the scientific productivity of both. The attendance at the workshop is by invitation.
