The Athena Community joins the 2019 International Day of Women and Girls in Science

One year more the Athena Community joins the 11th of February day, declared by the United Nations as the International Day of Women and Girls in Science with the aim to inspire and engage women and girls in science.

For this purpose, our outreach team has prepared a series of short videos promoting our female community in the context of the International Year of the Periodic Table. In the end, the elements on Earth are formed in the Universe.

We especially thank Rosaria Bonito (INAF-OA Palermo) and her band EX REI for providing the music.
