Caption: Simulated X-IFU spectrum of a z=1 galaxy cluster with E=3 keV and L_X = 1×10⁴⁴ erg s^-1 for 150 ks (the normalization of the model is 6.1×10^-5). Abundances are set to Solar. The column density is assumed to be 2 × 10²⁰ cm^-2. Emission lines from elements which are key to understanding chemical evolution can be clearly seen.

Additional comments: The simulation was performed using response files considered as baseline for the X-IFU Instrument Preliminary Requirement Review (XIFU_CC_BASELINECONF_2018_10_10.*).
