Caption: The X-IFU and WFI layouts on the Athena Science Instrument Module. The X-IFU design as of December 2019 includes 1 mini-cryostat accommodating the four Pulse Tube coolers. This is an adaptation of the design presented at the Instrument Preliminary Requirement Review design to specifically reduce perturbations induced by micro-vibrations. Additional comments: This design is still being iterated and likely subject to further modifications.
